Terms & Conditions of Entry


  1. Miss Teen Wales contestants must be between the ages of 13 and no more than 17 at the time of the Miss Teen Wales final in the given year.
  2. Contestants must be Welsh, have Welsh heritage or have had their permanent home in Wales for a period of no less than three years.
  3. Contestants must be natural born female or be able to provide a UK gender recognition certificate upon selection process.
  4. She must also hold proof of identity like a passport, birth certificate or driving licence.
  5. There must be nothing in the contestant’s background or behaviour during their time as a finalist that could bring into disrepute any aspect of the contest or its sponsors – otherwise there will be risk of disqualification.
  6. Entry forms must be filled in with names as they are on passports or birth certificates and not assumed or professional names.
  7. The Miss Teen Wales titles are copyright. No person, nor organisation, may use the titles, without the permission of Vibe PR & Marketing Limited.
  8. By entering the selection process and ultimately the contest, a contestant grants the organisers or the sponsors of the event, the free and unfretted right to use her name, photographs, voice, likeness, recommendations etc., relating to the contest, its title or any such connection between the contestant and the contest or title in any way it sees fit for advertising or sales promotions purposes, providing such use is not in a manner to cause harm to the contestant’s reputation or name. Such agreement will continue in a similar manner for further material issued resulting in participation in the contest or during year of office if she wins the title.
  9. Contestants agree that from the date of winning a qualifying contest, until a period of fourteen days after the national final, or if they become the holder of Miss Teen Wales title, for a period of six months after their reign as titleholder ends, they will not, without the prior permission in writing from the organisers, make any statement to the media, either directly or indirectly, nor give any interviews nor write any stories whatsoever appertaining to the competition or involving its name.
  10. Should a contestant win Miss Teen Wales, she shall not enter another pageant during the year of her reign.
  11. Contestants agree that their name and photographs may be used by the organiser in any advertising or promotion feature for the contest or its sponsors where the names “Miss Teen Wales” are included, providing such advertising or promotion shall not offend normal good taste.
  12. It is emphasised that the organisers cannot in any way be held responsible in any circumstances for the loss of any contestant’s personal effects. look after your own effects at all times. when appropriate take out insurance and deposit valuables in hotel safety deposits.
  13. In the event of any dispute over the rules of the contest the decision of the Miss Wales Teen organisation is final.
  14. It is up to each participant to organise their accommodation, food and travel to the event.
  15. Contestants will require the written permission of their parent/guardian to take part in Miss Teen Wales. This will be requested at interview stage.
  16. A full refundable deposit of £75 is required for participants on selection. This deposit will be refunded on the day of the Miss Teen Wales final for all those who complete the process.
  17. A sponsorship of £300 plus vat will be required by contestants to participate in the event. This is to fund all items related to Miss Teen Wales and is separate to the fundraising element of the competition.
  18. Organisers will make every effort to make sure all prizes offered by third parties are honoured – but cannot be held responsible for any shortcomings.
  19. Organisers will endeavour to run the event as advertised but cannot be held responsible for events/circumstances outside their control like Acts of God or legal/governmental decisions.
